Flick it on challenge

Lately, Room 3 have been making a silent movie. We have been completing a " Flick it on Challenge" which is a student collaborative film making challenge. There are three schools involved, there's a school is America and one up in the north island and our class.

 We got to choose our own theme and we choose how the education has changed over time.

We went to the Ferrymead, Willow Bank and then we did some filming in our ict room and rooms one and two. At Ferrymead we filmed the early European class, at willow bank we filmed pre European learning. Then  we filmed the present then the future that we filmed in the ict room. 

We needed to have a magic trick and a rubrics cube  and the time 3:15 in our movie. We took movies of room 1 2 and 3. When we send the  footage to other schools we won't get it back for a long time. When we send it they will put the music in the video and when they send their  footage to us we put music in, then we send it back to them. Every part of footage has to be 15 to 20 sec or shorter  the whole movie can only be 1 minute or shorter. 

The drivers that took us to Ferrymead and Willow Bank were Michaels mum, Whaea Jacqualene and Whaea  Sharon. We made the movie in iMovie, everyone filmed the parts that they weren't acting in. The actors were Rodney, John, Salote, Hannah, Ashleen, Rishap, Michael, Jakita, Tom, Connor and I.

 

I felt good about making this movie, I enjoyed it I liked it.
